Pedagogue is a podcast about teachers talking writing hosted by Shane Wood. Each episode is a conversation with a teacher (or multiple teachers) about classroom pedagogies and practices. Teachers talk about their experiences teaching writing, their work, inspirations, assignments, assessments, successes, and challenges. Pedagogue amplifies teacher-scholar perspectives on teaching writing across contexts and positions and celebrates the labor teachers do inside and outside the classroom. Pedagogue launched in April 2019 and has won two national awards -- the 2021 Kairos John Lovas Award and 2019 Computers and Composition Michelle Kendrick Outstanding Digital Production Award. Pedagogue is associated with Working and Writing for Change, an academic series under Parlor Press.
